KINOMEscan, now part of DiscoveRx, is a leading provider of kinase inhibitor profiling services to the kinase drug discovery industry. Born in 2003 as the innovative drug discovery platform fueling Ambit Bioscience's® drug discovery and development efforts, KINOMEscan has leveraged its rich kinase expertise to sustain a robust pipeline of attractive internal candidates and successfully advance many partner's programs from lead discovery through lead optimization to delivery of clinical candidates for further development.
On November 18, 2010 DiscoveRx acquired the KINOMEscan kinase screening services division from Ambit Biosciences. The addition of KINOMEscan division to DiscoveRx will serve to further strengthen DiscoveRx’s position as the market leader of novel, proprietary and validated GPCR and kinase assays for screening and profiling while enabling customers to improve research productivity and effectiveness, thus accelerating the discovery and development of new drugs. DiscoveRx and KINOMEscan are dedicated to the development and commercialization of innovative solutions to support kinase focused discovery efforts and providing an integrated suite of tools to inform decision making throughout the kinase drug discovery and development process.
